Kids
If you love hanging out with kids, there is no better place to serve than in our children’s program! You can serve in the nursery or kindergarten thru 5th-grade programs. As a children’s ministry volunteer you will:
Care for kids and engage them with simple activities, crafts and stories
Maintain a safe and fun environment
Help families feel welcome
If this excites you, go ahead and talk to Chris today. Note that all kids’ volunteers must pass a background check

Production Team
Are you tech-savvy? Do you have a knack for learning new things that involve a lot of buttons? As a Production volunteer you will:
Help make our weekend services excellent by operating a slideshow, camera, sound system, or lighting system
Actively participate in weekly sound checks and run-throughs that take place before each service
Function as part of a team that includes the band and other production team members
If serving on the Production Team sounds like something that may push your buttons (in a good way), talk to Mark today.

Frontline Team
The Frontline Team makes magic happen behind the scenes: they rock the details most people don’t think about:
On the Frontline Team, you may prepare coffee or communion, set up and straighten chairs, pass out materials, restock items, and more.
If you get excited about small details because of the big difference they make, the Frontline Team is for you.

Guest Services
Do you love meeting new people and helping them feel at ease? The Guest Services Team has a spot for you! As a Guest Services member you will:
Welcome guests before, during, and after weekend services
Answer questions about how someone can explore faith and get connected by taking their “Next Steps” at Living Hope
Create an environment where anyone, no matter where they are at in life, feels welcome and like they belong here.

Next Steps: Sunday School
Living Hope Sunday School is designed to help people grow in their faith and connect with others. This not only strengthens your understanding of the Bible and God, it also cultivates a strong sense of community with others who are also growing in their faith.
Next Steps: Outreach
Living Hope is connected with several local ministry organizations that are making Grand Rapids a better place to live and work. We can help you find a place that can use your gifts and skills to reach the forgotten, the outcast, and the overlooked in Grand Rapids.
Living hope is connected with international missions in Russia, Belize, and Mexico. We can help send you out to share the love of Christ around the world if the Spirit is leading you to serve others in that way.
